Background and Objectives of the Meeting Meeting Background In the dual context of globalization and localization, the issue of the correlation between cultural dynamics, spatial relationships, and social development is increasingly receiving attention. This conference will be held in Sanya, China, with the theme of "Culture, Space, and Sustainable Development". It will gather scholars, policy experts, and practitioners from fields such as human geography, cultural research, and regional development to explore cutting-edge issues and innovative practices during this period of change. Meeting objectives Promote interdisciplinary exchanges in the fields of culture, space, and development; Building an international platform to promote the deep integration of academic research and industrial practice; Exploring the integration path between cultural resources and social development; To provide reference for cultural policy formulation, regional development planning, and human geography research, and to help build a more dynamic and sustainable cultural geography pattern.

All full paper submissions to the CEDHG 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of CEDHG 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to cedhg@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
